Family Law

“Family Law” is a blanket term for any kind of legal matter involving children or relationships between adults. This includes:

  • Divorces (contested or uncontested)
  • Prenuptial Agreements
  • Child Custody
  • Child Support
  • Alimony Enforcement or Modification
  • Paternity
  • Adoption
  • Termination of Parental Rights

Orders of Protection

Orders of Protection, sometimes called “Restraining Orders,” are narrow cases where a person can ask a court to prevent someone from having contact of any kind with them for up to one year. Not everyone can ask for an Order of Protection, and the cases are generally only reserved for people who are related, used to be in a relationship, or are victims of stalking or harassment.

Regardless of if you are asking for an Order of Protection, defending against an Order of Protection, or think you may need an Order of Protection, we can help you navigate the process and represent you in court. Flat rates are available for representation in Orders of Protection on a case-by-case basis.
